Warm Chicken Salad
- 500g Chicken Strips
- 150g Rocket
- 400g Gourmet Lettuce
- 1 Clove of Garlic
- Ground Pepper
- Bovalina Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 Sprigs of Rosemary
- Balsamic Vinegar
Gently heat a tablespoon of Bovalina Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a frying pan, add crushed garlic and rosemary sprigs. Add chicken, salt and pepper to taste and cook till chicken is golden brown. Mix gourmet salad, rocket, salt, pepper and Bovalina Extra Virgin Olive Oil and place on a flat plate.
Add chicken on top of salad and splash with balsamic vinegar then serve.
Bovalina Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar Dressing
- 2 Sprigs of Fresh Thyme
- 2 Sprigs of Fresh Oregano
- 2 Cups of Bovalina Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2/4 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
Place all ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Mix together thoroughly for 1-2 minutes.
Pour the mixture into bottles using a funnel, seal tightly and store in cupboard at room temperature.
Bovalina Olive Oil Bread
- 2/4 Teaspoon of Dry Yeast
- ½ Cup of Warm Water
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 4 Tablespoons of Bovalina Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 Teaspoons Sugar
- 1 Cup of Plain Flour
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
Place all ingredients into a large mixing bowl, add water and mix well to form a dough. If the dough seems sticky, add a little bit more flour.
Knead dough for 1-2 minutes adding more flour if needed.
Place dough back into the bowl, cover up and let rise.
Once dough has risen, punch down and shape into a loaf of bread.
Place onto a greased tray and leave to rise again.
Once risen place into the oven for 30-45 minutes, until golden brown.
